I’m Judy Ruggles, a Calgary-based artist creating original acrylic paintings inspired by birds, vintage treasures, and the small joys of everyday life. My detailed paintings bring together realistic birds and nostalgic objects to tell playful little stories that invite a smile.

Each of my paintings tells a story, capturing a charming moment in time. With a love for birds, vintage treasures and add a touch of whimsy, it’s where the magic begins.  People are drawn to the intricate details, the beauty of nature, and a sense of nostalgia that each piece evokes. My hope is to bring a smile to your face and create a connection to a memory or feeling that makes the painting uniquely special.

Whether you're an art collector or simply in search of that unique piece to enhance your home, I believe that art has the power to inspire and uplift the soul. That's why I pour my heart and soul into every creation, so that you can experience the magic of my brushstrokes for yourself.  My artwork can be found in private collections across Canada and the US, with a few pieces finding their way even further around the world.
